Comment by Laura Swift Lind on October 23, 2011 at 3:24pm: I don't have kids, yet, but my husband & I usually go camping a couple times a year, & we don't plan to change that when we do have kids. We go to SCA camping events, where we dress as people did in various cultures pre-1600, and participate & learn about the various skills from back then.

Comment by Heidi Ahrens on May 28, 2011 at 8:51pm: Just two weeks ago I was camping in Moab with my 4 and 1 year old, a friend who had a 4 week old, another with a 5 month old and another with a 4 and 2 year old. Without husband because they were working.

It should be an experience this year to surpass previous years of camping! Many things to learn and we are so excited to share our love of the outdoors and nature with our baby girl!

Great ways to get fellow members to join is to post a link to the group within the site comments, etc. The other is to invite friends who are members and the other is to invite outside friends.

4 corner state I am sure, has many families who explore in nature.
