Blog writing Guidelines

Member Blog Writing Guidelines:

 We are glad that you want to write for us and we would love to publish your work.  Here is a bit of information about what we are looking for.  We publish OBN members; if you aren't a member, it is easy to join--start her".

If you are a business, non-profit or professional blogger trying to reach our audience please contact us( outdoorbaby.net@gmail.com) to see how we can serve you.  This information is for casual bloggers and writers.

It is much better to contact us first to pitch you blog idea, that way no one will waste their time writing something that won’t be published.

If you submit a pitch, include a working title and a paragraph explaining the content of your blog and even pictures if you like. Include your name and a three sentence bio that brings credibility to why you are writing about this topic. Please send your ideas to either Heidi.

Guidelines:

Only include one link in your blog and in your personal bio.  Do not add links with affiliate marketing codes.

200-500 word length

You need to post your blog on facebook  and tweet about it.

Tag your photos with key words so that it can be found

Your blog should include:

• Photos, diagrams , videos or drawings

• One link to something inside OutdoorBabyNetwork

• At the end of your blog: Your name and a three sentence bio that brings credibility to why you are writing about this topic.

• Choose an educational, inspirational, or otherwise interesting topic. Introduce readers to an event, product, blog or company with fun facts rather than making an advertisement.

We are currently looking for blogs that have this kind of information:

Mushing (dog sledding with kids), horseback riding , kayaking, canoeing, skating, hockey, hunting (yes/no) with kids,  snowshoeing with kids, RV camping, sending your kids to camp.
